Lockwood Folly, Brunswick County and Waste Industries, Inc want to make recycling simple and convenient for you. Recycling is easy, and it's rewarding. Just a few minutes a day is all it takes to do your part to help reduce the amount of solid waste we put in our landfills.
Please use your gate opener if you come in after the gates are closed. If you forget your gate opener and the new code, please call a friend or neighbor to buzz you in. Do not try to open the gate manually. When replacing the batteries in you opener be careful not to change the position of the “dip switches”, as it will cause your opener to be inoperable.
Please do not share this code with non-residents.
During the summer we had a number of incidents involving children driving golf carts. Operating a golf cart by an unlicensed driver is a violation of the Lockwood Folly covenants as well as North Carolina law. Golf carts may only be driven by licensed drivers. Even if you are in the golf cart, it is illegal to allow an unlicensed driver to operate the golf cart.
Thanks for your cooperation.

The vacant lots in our community are private property and no one is allowed to dump on these lots. During the recent lot clean up we have found adjacent property owners and landscape contractors are using these lots as their private dumping area. This practice will no longer be tolerated and fines will be imposed on violators.
The POA provides an area for yard debris and everyone is required to use this area. No plastic bags are allowed to be left in this area. All debris must be removed from plastic bags.
How would you like to walk around all day with dog waste on your shoes? Not a pleasant thought, but this is what our maintenance crews have to put up with when you do not pick up after your dog when they do their business on the vacant lots. Please be more considerate of others and pick up after your dog.
