POA Board Meetings are held the second Thursday of each month at 3:00PM and are open to all property owners.

The POA is now in the process of purchasing the 2.4 arces from LFCCI on whice to build the new community Center. Meetings will be conducted in February to update members on the project.

The new tennis courts have progressed along nicely as the base foundation clearing; filling and compacting followed by the asphalt surface and the new fencing were completed as per specification.

What remains to be done to complete the courts is applying the four coats of special acrylics to the surface of the asphalt that will seal the surface, provide the colors, the surface texture and the striping as well as level out any small surface puddles. These finishing acrylics each require warm dry sunny weather in order to adhere and cure properly. Unfortunately as we close in on the shortest days of the year now, (Winter Solstice) we will have the least amount of warm sun as well as the damp and wet weather as we continue to experience (heavy dew), conditions unfavorable for applying the finishing acrylics. These conditions now dictate that the courts cannot be finished until early springtime when the climate becomes more favorable to our needs.

Take heart, all is not lost. In the interim a special cold quick dry resurface layer will be applied to the asphalt to seal it from the weather and the contractor will apply some court lines and a net so we can use it if we want. We also still continue have the old courts available to us for a short time.
